DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY:

Chemistry is a laboratory science that is based on observations of changes that occur when different substances are combined. In our college, the department of Chemistry was established in the academic year 2018-19.

VISION:

• The main aim of the department is to provide quality education and to serve the society by developing in students heightened intellectual, cultural, ethical, and humane sensitivities. Central to this vision is a commitment to regional and national development in consonance with our culture, heritage and environment.
• To promote, inspire and nurture the fundamentals of chemistry through UG courses.
• To meet the challenges of a complex, and modern society through informed social outreach.

MISSION:

• Providing quality education through demanding academic programs.
• Enhancing career opportunities for students by introducing them to society and industry.
• To inculcate sensitivity forward society and a respect for the environment.
• Make students aware of global changes in the environment and its impact on society.

GOAL:

• To understand matter and its behavior. 
• To provide students with the skills necessary to succeed in graduate programs or chemistry- related careers.
